1999 ES300 knock sensor issues
my 99 Es300 showed code p0330- knock sensor malfuction. replaced both sensors with dealer part at mechanic shop, but the code keeps coming back.
sometimes it will go away and the car is fine but when the check engin light and trac off light is on the car won't shif to over drive. and knock sensor code is back again.
can anyone help?

Did you check the sub wiring harness? From what I have read it's rarely a problem with the sensor itself and is usually the wiring harness. I haven't had the issue yet (knock on wood) but from what I have gathered the wiring harness sits in a valley under the intake manifold that gets subjected to some intense heat, and well.....you can see where this is going.
