2003 es300 mark levinson subwoofer mounting depth
Hey guys, first off wanted to say thanks beforehand for any help I can get regarding this matter.
I have a 2003 es300 with the mark levinson navi system and my subwoofer just blew. I'm looking to get another subwoofer specifically either the JL w3 series or wx series.
I spoke to the guys at dealership and they told me that it can fit a subwoofer between 8" and 10". I'm looking to buy a 10"...anyone have any experience with this and whether the guys at the dealership misinformed me?
More importantly, I was wondering if anyone knew what the mounting depth is for the subwoofer. I've searched around and can't seem to find an answer to that question.
Thanks again in advance!

You'll want a sub that's designed to play free-air (not in a sealed enclosure) and matches up to the amp. I don't know how many watts RMS that amp produces at what load (ohms), but you'll want to find out before picking a sub.
Watts RMS is the power that the amp produces. Ohms are the resistance the speaker has.
Hope this helps, Martin
