I change the oil and filter about every 4,500 miles. I have used "regular" oil (Quaker State or Pennzoil) for high mileage engines for a while. Other fluids such as transmission and coolant about once a year.

I believe the coolant change is every 60,000 miles and the transmission fluid is every 15,000miles.

I know. But I was just wondering if his/her transmission would have lasted longer than 370,000miles if the fluid was replaced every 15,000miles instead of every year.

My 97 ES300 is at 270,000 miles...still on original engine and transmission.

Default ES300 Mileage

My recently acquired 2002 ES300 has 30,330 miles. The survey doesn't allow for low-mileage cars like mine! -Richard W.

just bought a 1998 w/ 283k...I selected 300+ since there's no 200-300.
seems to be running strong, has a tick in the engine and some front strut noise I gotta figure out though

Change the timing belt every 90K miles. When I had my 1996 ES 300 I changed my timing belt at 90K, 180K, 270K and 360K miles. I changed the water pump at 180k and 360K miles. Keep up on the maintenance and your ES will go very many miles...
