440,000 kilometers equals 273,416 miles. Yes, that is a lot. I have a 1996 ES 300 with 297,000 miles and it's still going strong. It doesn't leak oil or transmission fluid but it does burn some oil. I want to see how far I can take her...

I have 168,000 miles on my '97. Replaced the shocks (to see if I could) and it feels like new! Mechanically it's sound. Needs some work on seat belt (loose) and the effervescent center console lights. Other than my wife banging into things with it it's in great shape. We gave it to our 17 year old.

Default My 2002 ES 300...

I have a silver 2002 ES 300, it looks like new and is in mint condition and it drives smoothly. I purchased the car from an attorney when it had 91,700 miles on it.

Mileage as of this AM: 120,775 miles

High Mileage for a 2002, but virtually all of the miles have been of the open road/easy driving variety. The car has been impeccibly maintained (all services done every 5000-7500 miles), and the critical 90,000 mile service (timing belt, etc.) that costs around $1K was done...I hope to get at least 300,000 miles out of it!

You'll definitely be able to get 300,000+ miles out of her. Currently I'm at 303,000 miles and I feel my car has a lot of life left. Happy driving...
