Question Need advise on Headlight replacement 05 ES-330

How can I tell if my headlights are Xenon, HID or regular bulbs? Is there an easy way to identify these? I would like to replace my headlights but I continue to see options for xenon, HID or without HID. Also can anyone advise me on which brand or web site you recommend to make this purchase. My headlights are in pretty bad shape. Thanks.

You can usually tell if your headlights are HID or not just by looking at them. What color is the light? Is it a white/blue or a slightly yellowish color?

Also, what do you mean your headlights are in bad shape? Are the bulbs out or are your housings getting foggy/blurry?

Sorry to jump on this post but I also have awful lighting at night. They are not out but they are not very bright. I live in in the suburbs so it's pretty dark out here and I find that if I don't have my highbeams on I can only see maybe a car length ahead of me. I was about to purchase some "extreme white" lights which run about $70/pr. Any suggestions. I'm taking the car tomorrow to the dealer because the vehicle stability control system warning light also came on.

If you need more light output, I would recommend some 4300K or 5000K HID's. You can get some plug-and-play conversion kits for under $100 a set for good ones.

Check out the lighting forum for info/instructions.

If you dont want hid's also try silverstars or phillips bulbs, but remember, no matter what you have, the lighting will be bad if your lenses are foggy and hazy
