Electrical
I've noticed that for a while the speed of my power windows is kinda slow. Moreso the fron then the back. I also noticed that the window buttons with the light on the doors to roll down the windows are a little dim too. What can I do to brighten them back up and speed up my power windows? I replaced several fuses, but I didn't have that big fuse I think it's 30 or 40 Amperes to try and replace that and see if it made a differece. what is it???

Fuses are not your answer. Over time electrical wiring can deteriorate or burn out. the best things you can do is replace the wiring for the lights or replace the lights under the little window markers. I am an Electronics Technician so I know what I am talking about.

If I remember correctly, a problem in the master controller for the windows (the switches in the driver's armrest) can cause the rest of the windows to get weak voltage, etc. If you run a search, you may be able to find a thread that provides a better explanation than I could give. (Trying searching the whole site--this problem/solution has been encountered on all of the older Lexus models).

from the driver side window controls, i can roll the front passenger window down but can't roll it back up from the same control, i have to lean over and roll it up using the passenger window control, any idea of what the problem could be and how i could fix it?

snoboarder8,
sounds like your problem is the driver side front passenger switch's "up" contact is not making the circuit complete. Maybe just a little scoring or cleaning of the two surfaces that make contact is in order. It may also be that a wire has come lose in the switch at the contacts necessary. You may have to take the entire switch out of the door to give it a good inspection and or cleaning.

You'll have to pull the door panel to access the switch pod. Search this forum for the how-to-on the door panel. Once the panel is off, you should be able to see how to unscrew the pod.
