Anyone here running wheel spacers on their ES300? I have a 98 that i wanna put some wheels on, but wanna try n flush out the wheels as best possible. I was thinking of running either a 10mm or 15mm spacer. My question here is, if i run either one of those, will i need extended studs or can i run something like project kics spacers with studs already built in?

well if you want the older style spacers you will need extended studs (Not 100% sure on that), but you can get the newer one that is just bolt on with its own studs on them, like ichiba v2

depends.

If you want slip on spacers, you have to get extended studs punched in and the OEM ones removed.

If you get something like the Ichiba spacers, they are a 'slip-on' but the have the studs built in.

And the 'gaps' in the back of your wheels are made to account for any part of the OEM studs sticking out so they don't prevent the wheel from mounting on.

if youspace it out more than 5 mm youll probably rub the fender

it depends on your offset 5mm isn't much at all. I have 25mm ichiba v2 spacers with built in studs. With 18x8+40 and intrax springs without rubbing anything but I cut my fenders. It's the only way to achieve the flush look. They work great and highly recommend them.

ive got some 18x8.5 +41 offset wheels, so im thinking of doing 15mm spacers to get an effective offset of +26 which should fit perfectly flush once i cut the fenders. Im just wondering if 25mm would be enough to cover the oem studs, because the wheels i have are dual drilled for 5x114 and 4x114 so anything sticking out past the spacer would have nowhere to go.

25mm spacers is for sure enough for oem studs. Anything less i dont think would clear the studs
