oil leak after timing belt/first oil change
Hello all, I had my timing belt replaced by a friend whom I trust and everything went well. I also did the first oil change on my car myself. It's a 2000 with 190k on her. Soon after each of these I've noticed quite a bit of an oil leak underneath the engine. I had my mechanic do the catalytic on it and check out the leak and he said the rear main seal but is their some other seal that is involved when doing the timing belt that could have been damaged and caused an oil leak? I cant really afford the 1000 or whatever it will be to have the rear main seal repaired. I've tried Bar's Rear Main Seal repair stuff you put in the oil but that has yet to remedy it. Any help would be great! Thanks guys(and girls)

could be the camshaft seals (2) or crankshaft seal...both could be easily damaged when doing a T belt job or just leak on their own from wear...its a rubber seal after all.
from my experience as a technician, i always recommend replacing all 3 seals with the T belt/water pump because you're already inside the timing cover anyway
