New to CL. question about subwoofer and tail lights 1998 es300
I am new to the Lexus club and have a few questions.
I have a full loaded stock 1998 ES300
question 1.
I would like to keep my stock sound system. I would like more base though. I was wondering is it possible to remove the stock single air mount sub woofer and replace it with a new same size better quality sub woofer with out re wiring anything. almost like a plug and play.
I think the stock sub size is 8" oem stock type. any one have any ideas?
QUESTION 2.
I have notice that the 1999 version of the Lexus es300 has tail lights that are red and white (clear) unlike the red, YELLOW, and white (clear) found on the 1998 or before.
I was wondering if I purchased the 1999 Lexus es300 tail lights would it just bolt up to my 1998 Lexus?
PLease post pictures or ideas if you have thanks.

Regarding the sub, it's possible to drop in a 8" aftermarket sub without any extra wiring or even an amp. Though you will lose the clips that hold the center brake light in place because they are attached to the stock sub frame.
I currently have a 8" sub in a box, hooked up to the stock wiring with the stock amp on the Pioneer sound system on a 99. It does hit harder and louder even on stock, though I have it in a box. There's not much of a difference if you just drop it in the stock location.
