Check and tight every nuts/bolts from control arm to rotor, that is the cheapest way. Make sure the sound it is not from your steering wheel/column.

Things to check:
- tie rods
- ball joints
- lower control arms
- strut mounts

Things to check;

Wheel Bearing,
Wheel Nuts,
Brake Pads ( they can move in the caliper if cheap non OEM one's).

Play in lower arms,
Shock Knock: shocks moving inside the strut, rock car from side to side on the ground violently listen for knock, or place hand on strut and 'feel it'.

Default Clunk when turning right slowly and vibration over 70

I have the same issue- a clunk when turning right at slow speed, and a vibration over 70mph. Both on the right side.

I've got the same issue on my Solara. Clunk when turning at low speed, more evident if there's passengers in the car, and a vibration at high speed (but that could be wheel balance).

I checked everything for play and noise thoroughly this weekend and couldn't find anything loose or where the noise is coming from. I know my right side ball joint leaked out all the grease last year but its still taught.

I think the next thing is to check the steering rack and intermediate steering shaft / U-joint.

Default Would it be just the lower control arm?

I inspected everything and found the control arm bushing to be shot. Everything else seemed Ok. Could it be that simple ?
