I only pump gas at Mobil and I have a good reason to: cuz I got a Mobil Speedpass. 91 is the highest octane in l.a. right now. all 91's used to say 92 til about 2 yrs ago. dunno what happ'd. i wish we had the option of getting 93 gas. i wonder what'll happen if i pump gas in the 100's (airplane grade) into my ES...probably not good.

Whoever dismissed Techron as being nothing more than a flashy name is incorrect. It is legit, and is extremely effective at keeping your injectors clean. There has been a lot of discussion in regard to the benefits of techron over at the Porsche board I frequent, with many people displaying their proven results. Granted, the techron added to Chevron gas is not nearly as strong as the stuff you'll get out of the bottle, but when used on a regular basis, it can be extremely beneficial.

watered down gas reminds me... a few years back some station (i dont remember which so i wont just spit names) had somehow accidentally gotten pure water into their tanks. so all these folks are pumping water in their cars...within a few hours, theres all these cars within like a 10 minute radius of the station just stalled. this was in l.a. tells you what kinda geniuses work in l.a.
