im looking to change the cabin air filter on my 93 es300, i have no idea where its located? anyone where it is?

isnt it like a requirement to be able to do that you know where it is or can find out using the manual or a search on here

I think that the 93 models did not come with a cabin air filter.

Look just to the right of the gas pedal. There will likely be a white plastic compartment with a removable cover. This is where the filter goes. My 94 ES has this compartment, but there was no filter inside it.

Be aware that it helps if you are a contortionist when trying to access this area.

that's because most all didn't come with the filter until later, which is pretty funny since they can have one and rockauto .c com sells it , including the carbon ones

My 93 came with one. I don't know why some came with and some came without. Pretty inconsistent.

Not very many 2ES' came with cabin filtration filter, that was an option on certain models or packages I think. I know I don't have one.

probably if you have a gold emblem you have it is my guess
5spd trans, being ''base'' like equipment would tend to mean no 5spd have the filter [even if we have every other option]

edit: nevermind. tomstep2 has silver badges so that's not it.....
