"Cld air intake" VS Stock air box
Hey guys, just started thinking of mods for my 96 es300. I have 149XXX miles and trying to go for 300000 miles. Therefore, I’m trying to keep everything stock as possible. So since the winter break is coming up, and I don’t have any classes for a few weeks after finals I thought I’d do some work on my car. I already have the parts for replacing the cluster bulbs to LED, which will be an overnight job in my garage. I’ve also been thinking about some type of air intake system, I know it doesn't do much but I like that deep growl that the car makes when it gets to about 3k RPMs. So any ways I came across a thread about "CAI" and someone performed a DIY that I was thinking about doing. I was thinking about removing the stock box and keeping the MAF and all that other stuff on there and using a rubber coupling to attach the cone filter onto the intake hose. I just wanted to know if having a filter close to the MAF will damage it in any way. Well, I just wanted to know about everyone's thoughts about a stock air system and a "cold air" intake. And if you have your own one off system, please share & post pics. Let's see what everyone has to say.

do a brake fluid change, firstly youll need to suck out [turkey baster] that old brake fluid from master cyl fill with new, then go the procedure gravity bleed or brake pump.....
try using dot 3 [absorb less water per time] if you dont like to change the fluid often, otherwise dot 4

yeah i looked into the SW intakes and i just can't afford it right now. My tuition is due at the end of the month. how about removing the resonator? or do you guys have any other inexpensive options?
IMO, making sure you have a clean filter in at all times, proves just as 'good' - 01LEXPL
i think i'm gonna stick to that for now unless someone else comes up with any other options.
