2001 ES 300 window hits moulding when cosed
Hello all I have a 2001 ES 300 and when I open or close the passenger front door a small area of the door glass hits the chrome moulding. I have tried push it up but nothing seems to help. I thought that maybe the moulding is installed wrong because the drivers side works great. Does anybody know if this door moulding is just pressed on or does it have something under the rubber that holds it in place. Thanks

Mine does the same thing on my 98 ES300 and same side door, passenger. It doesnt look like the molding dropped. Im wondering if the window came out of alignment slightly or if the door itself somehow moved up. Only a very small portion of glass hits the molding, approx. 1cm hits. I just slightly roll down the window so it doesnt hit.

I took it all apart, the door, played around with adjustments/looked at moldings, and concluded it was indeed the motor.
It seemed at first that it shift place, since before in the summer it was 100% okay, and after it had a hard time closing...
