KEY for 97 ES 300

is it possible to get a programmed chip key for a 97 lexus or only the regular key?

If I'm not mistaken, Lexus started putting a transponder (chip) inside the key in the 1998 model.

Hey, you can get the regular key from www.dealextreme.com ... Literally costs 2-3$ with shipping, all you need to do after is get it cut.
