Default P0125 p1130 p1135

Hello,

I'm getting codes P0125 P1130 P1135 for y 1999 es300.

I need a diagram to show where these parts go in?

From other threads I can see that i need the sensors but what type?
I've gone on to amazon and typed in 1999 lexus es300 air fuel sensor
and am promoted to Denso 234-9009 Oxygen Sensor. Will this sensor do the trick for P1130 P1135?

About the P0125 I'm not sure what sensors would apply to this code.

Please help.

Thanks!

Littlelala

You will need the Denso 234-9007 for the bank one sensor one problem indicated by error codes P1130 and P1135.

Go here to find which sensor you need. http://densoautoparts.com/find-my-pa...icle-selection. The part you need is listed as the "upstream rear."

However I'd lean toward correcting the P0125 problem first as it is likely causing all three error codes because it's possible the air/fuel ratio sensor is not getting hot enough due to low engine temp. See http://engine-codes.com/p1135_toyota.html Of course I could be wrong and it's the air/fuel ratio sensor.

Your P0125 http://engine-codes.com/p0125_lexus.html indicates: P0125 Lexus - Insufficient Coolant Temperature for Closed Loop Fuel Control
Possible causes:
- Low engine coolant level
- Leaking or stuck open thermostat
- Faulty Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor
- Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor harness is open or shorted
- Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor electrical circuit poor connection

It's likely that you only have one problem which is causing all three of your error codes. I'd lean toward whatever is causing the P0125.

Of course it's relatively easy to replace the air/fuel ratio sensor and they tend to go bad after 100K miles or so. So you could just replace it and see if that corrects the problem. If you've never replaced it before you'll probably need to replace the sensor soon anyway.

BTW it's the sensor between the firewall and engine.

I just did a quick search and it appears that P0125 is fairly common when the air/fuel ratio sensor fails. On second consideration I'd just replace the air/fuel ratio sensor and see if that clears the problem.

Yes, the P0125 is most likely (probably 100%) a companion code which will go away after correcting the A/F sensor problem.

Go here to see how to replace the sensor from the top. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...00-w-pics.html

I usually put my car on stands and replace the sensor from the bottom

Changing the Denso 234-9007 for the bank one sensor did the trick.
Had to use the PB blast since it was so tight but it got the job done.

Thank you so much!! You saved me $300 in mechanic charges.
