Homelink garage door opener....finally works
I just figured out tonight how to get the homelink on my ES to work my Chamberlain garage door opener. It was so simple. I tried to do it like over a year ago, but could't figure it out after like 5 tries and gave up.
All I did was followed the instructions in the manual and then hit the learn button on my opener, then hit the button that I wanted to program in my car and voila, it works.
Anybody else using the homelink in their ES?

Got my first system at a garage sale - just recently, got a butt load of switches and receivers at a resale shop for about $1 each! Check eBay. You can buy a special module to control your ceiling fans. There are even systems to dim florescent lights.

cool. the coffemaker thing was a joke, but im really curious about other possibilities. i live in the apartment and now i need to figure out if there is something really useful i could do with x10...
I am big into X10 - sit on my *** and control all my lights and fan! I need to set up a RX to be able to turn on the outside light when I come home at night and forgot to turn it on before I left.

Range could be an issue - also, I have found that certain things plugged into an outlet on the same leg as the receiver (even when it is not turned on) can cause interference with the powerline signal.
