Default 93 ES300 Check Engine Codes 24 and 52

Hey everyone. Newbie to this forum...

As the title says 93 ES300 with check engine codes 24 and 52.

I know code 24 is intake temperature sensor circuit fault and that code 52 is a knock sensor circuit fault. My questions are these.....

Where do I find a replacement intake temperature sensor for a reasonable price (used is fine as long as I can find specs on the resistances at the plugs to do a check on the used sensor)?

To fix the knock sensor circuit... are there more than one knock sensors? And I've read that that entails replacing the whole PCM... is this necessary?

Thanks!

The intake temp sensor should be app 2 ~ 3 k ohms at room temp. It is located inside the airflow meter. Pins 5 and 7.
There are two knock sensors located between the cylinder banks. I tried to uplaod a write up on code 52, but at 620kb it exceeds the limit to upload. If you like, pm me with you email address, I can send you a copy if you need.

Ok...

So thanks to the factory manual and getting the engine codes I've decided at least the past bank knock sensor is bad. I ran the test the manual proscribes at the ECM. I had a lot of resistance, but not the 1 Megaohm (infinite) resistance necessary.

Questions....

What gaskets are required to replace the knock sensor? I know the upper intake manifold must come off, does the lower? Gaskets needed there?

I've decided, after reading, to replace both knock sensors and the wiring harness. Are the sensors interchangeable? Meaning do I have to buy both a left and a right or just 2 sensors? And the wiring harness? Only from the dealer? Is that hard to replace?

Thanks!!

Check the connector on the MAF, if you need a part, try a junk yard, I have a great diy yard here in SW fla.... as for the knock sensors, they are the same... under the intake manifold... I have had no problem reusing the gaskets, but that is up to you... its not a difficult job once the plenum is removed.... as for the harness that too can come from a yard as long as the car has a good one on it.... doesn't need to be a lex... any v6 toy same vintage will work.....I would like a copy of the write up for the knock sensor as i have an intermittent 55 code on my 93 es....my email addy is capnfred57@yahoo.com... thanks
