Question Supercharger kit for 2001 ES 300?

Looking into possibly getting a supercharger for my 2001 ES 300. I did some google searching but can't find anything for my car. I even tried looking for TRD kits but don't see any. I know a few people here have TRD superchargers on their ES 300's.

Anyone know where I can find some?

It won't be a bolt on for you. Only the 94-98 ES300 (Non-VVT-i). You'd either have to swap the engine to a '98, or do a custom build using non-VVT-i heads.

^ It all depends how much $ you have though. If you have the money, I say go for it, and I can help you with knowledge and hookups.

Ouch that sucks. I don't want to swap my engine, it's in awesome shape How much money are we looking at here? And where are some parts that I can look at?

hmm, if the heads are the only thing stopping you, then just go get a different engine and put it in or take the heads off of it and put them on the 'supposed' great block you already have. i think swapping the engine would take less time and be easier and safer, though. you can sell the engine your car came with, and then you can show them how good it is! look on the bright side.

then, the supercharger bolts on. but that supercharger isn't the best or known for best reliability and isn't the best you can do with your car's engine for performance. but it is one thing.

^ It's extreamly reliable. Only thing I've had happen to my car is I blew a couple knock sensors...but then again, it's not made for my year engine so having to figure things out.

As for not being the best thing, shy of spending a lot more on a custom turbo, there isn't any good options as of now. With the exception of an M90 SC for the 1MZ currently being designed.

The issue without swapping the engine, is if you just change the head, you need to plug the VVT-i lines in the block itself. If you swap the engine, you should only need the engine, engine harness, and ECU, and you can always resell your engine. Issue comes in if you can't do your own work. The labor is what will end up killing you unfortunatley.

I still don't know what supercharger you guys are refering to? lol.

What about turbo options instead of a supercharger? Still the same thing or what?

Where could I find some engines for sale?

Why aren't there any hop-up kits for this generation? The vvt-i maybe?

^ LOL! No, that was just the 1st pic I found. The one in the front I put there just to take a funny picture. It;s a 5SFE RippMods Supercharger. It's my friends in Austalia. I just need to ship it over.
