Question Drivers side mirror glass replacement

Hey guys, I have a bit of a problem with my mirror. I think something struck the glass while the car was parked and damaged the mirror glass. What basically happened is that over time slowly the whole mirror started to change color to a blue/purple type. It was a tiny stain at first but now it basically has enveloped the whole mirror.

It took a few months, and in this time I've been pretty lazy looking for a replacement. I think it's heated and I know it's auto dimming. I called a Lexus dealership and they are selling the glass on it's own for $ 461 bucks!!!

Anyone know a good alternative to this or where to find a mirror glass?

Btw it's a 2001 ES300 with 110,000 km on it, mint condition and it has the factory spoiler!

I'm new to this forum and Ill post pics and a few other questions I have, but please help me with this mirror thing, on gloomy days I can't see much in it

I did some searching around and basically all the Lexus mirrors I've found are insanely expensive. So I went to this site here and found a 2001 Camry mirror Japan built for pretty cheap.

Do you think this drivers side mirror would fit my 2001 ES300 Lexus?

sounds like it would be easier to just buy a used mirror setup from ebay with good glass and get it colormatched.

Naw my car is in mint condition, everything stock and original, it would be foolish to get a whole mirror assembly. All I need is the glass...
