Question LED Lights?

I was searching around and was wondering if you guys recommend the LED lights for the license plates and interior dome lights. I kind of like the yellowish warm look of standard halogen lights inside my car, but what do you guys like?

Also do they make LED tailight bulbs as well.
I watched a DIY show once and the had these LED bulbs shaped like stars:

Do you use guys use anything like those at all?

Hey NIGEL,

Thanks for the response. So what exactly is included in your 14.99 LED kit?

I have a 2002 Lexus ES 300.

I would like to do everything inside the car:

-Door Lights
-Map Lights
-Dome Light
-Trunk Light
etc.

How many of your kits do I need.

In your picture I notice There is a large chip and 5 little ones what corresponds to which light in the car thanks.

I've got all LED's in my GS interior and I think it looks much more modern and clean but if you're not sold on the look I wouldn't spend the money on them.

I'm skeptical of LED replacement bulbs for taillights, I question whether they would be bright enough and have enough dispersion to be safe. I don't have any personal experience and they may have come up with something that works well now but I'd do quite a bit of research before I'd consider it.

Hey Nigel.

So the LED Board is The Larger Chip in the pic, okay.

So what exactly are the 5 adapters? Are the LED boards what actually plug in and light up?

Thanks

Yes, the Board is the LED Board.

Those adapter has a male or female adpater, as well as the board, so you hook up the board (male or female) with the adpater (male or female) that you need and plug it into the socket then it will light up.
