Default 03 ES300 rear window (left & right) won't go down at all

hi everyone, I did some search and most of window problem happened in gen 2 & 3 ES300. Both front windows are fine, but when I tried to push the rear windows button, i only hear a 'click' but none of them went down at all. Could it be the motor ? and if it is....where can I find the motor replacement ? ebay have it but it's around $120 for each rear window

what else could it be ? thanks in advance!

Are you opening/closing using the master switch i.e. the switch from the driver's seat?

Does it work when you do it in the passenger seat? If so then the master switch on the driver seat could be bad.

That's what happened to me. The front passenger window wouldn't go up or down from the master switch but it would work using the passenger's seat.

The issue is that I bought a replacement a couple of months ago and now the 2 rear windows won't work from the master switch. urrr...

I'll probably have to buy another master switch.

thanks for the respond, kphu. I tried both, from driver's & passenger' seat, and none of them work. It was fine few days ago, which is weird.

I.E on the 2 gen ES the window regulator is poorly designed . That usually causes the cable to snap or sieze. Its possibe ( I dunno if the design is the same) on your car that the motor is fried or that the cable running through the motor snapped and messed the motor up or even possibly siezed.
