Anybody run 215/60/16's on a '92-'96 es300?
I received a set of 5 (2001 GS300) stock five star rims from my parents. They upgraded to a newer wheel styling. I'd love to put these on my 1994 es300.
1. YES I realize that the offset of the gs rims is +50 - I plan to run spacers to solve any rubbing issues against the back suspension.
2. The tires size is 215/60/16. I tried them on the front, no problem. I tried them on the rear and they somewhat close at the top. I think the tallest tire profile on a 16 is 215/55/16 for the '92-'96 generation.
I'm curious to see if any one out there is running the same set up and has or hasn't experienced continous rubbing? I would love to use these, but not if they are going to be rubbing at the top with every bump or with extra weight. Again, there won't be any rubbing on the suspension with the use of spacers.
Anybody in this generation es running this tire profile?????
