Homelink Help 98 ES

hey guys, quick question... i have a 98 ES with no homelink.. if i get a visor with homelink would it be possible to make it work by just hooking it up... or is the transmitter somewhere else in the car? THANKS!

ive got a 95 es w/ no homelink and a 2000 es and a 2000 rx that DO have homelink and cant get them to work. in my opinion its not worth the headache.
