Default 2008 18" Solara Wheels On 96 Es300 !!!!!

okay they are 18x8 +30 offset with brand new 255/45 bridgestone run flats...600.00 for everything. we jacked up car and fit one up front and no rubbing at full wheel lock. we put them on in rear and tire rubs on spring perch barely.

my question is if i go with 40 series tires and sell these tires, technically they will work. they def flush out and then some, but i figured with a 1" eibach spring and a stretched tire they would look real good. idk guys please chime in. the deal is so good i dont want to pass it up and they look awesome on car compared to 15" stockers. i know i will have to camber wheels in to make them look right.

I think its the offset that's causing the rubbing. The stock ES wheels I believe have a +45 offset. You might need to get some spacers and it should be fine. If you can take a pic of the fronts. I'm curious to see how they look.

its not the offset thats causing the rubbing its the tire, because its too tall. the tire is rubbing on bottom of spring perch. if i was to get spacers the wheel would sit way past the fender. like i said its a +30 offset now.

thinking about getting a 225/40 and that should take care of any rubbing on the inside and tuck the tire inside fender on outside. i do plan on lowering the car so i have to think ahead.

the shop gave me a new price of 500 last night. the brand new tires are worth that alone.

I still think its the offset because i believe some folks in this site are running 225/45/18 (RX330 rims) and they fit fine.
