whats the difference between 205 60 and 205 65 tires?

Default whats the difference between 205 60 and 205 65 tires?

i was going to buy the 205 60 tires to replace the 65s. is this possible? its a 92 es 300. what are the negatives of doing this?

Trere are higher tires. not good

a 205 60 is going to be a bit shorter in overall height than the 205 65. this will give you a smaller sidewall, not by much. it will put more tread on the road and increase your steering response.

one other , major, important point: the 205/60 R15 will have [apples 4 apples] less load capacity.... so even if you don't over load it, you will need to use some more PSI in that tire...
