Default Tire fitment

I know that the bolt pattern on my ES300 is 5x114. Now these wheels I am looking at have the same bolt pattern but the offset is 45 and it says 17x8. My question is...will these fit. If anyone may know and could assist it would be greatly appreciated.

Which year? I think with that offset and width, you might get by but you will be very close to rubbing on the suspension.

It is a 1994. I have a 17" wheel on there now but not knowing that the tire size plays a part it seems that the tires that I have on them is a 235/50/17 so I just purchased a 225/45/17 for hopefilly a little clearance. I just want to know what options I may have for a 17" rim. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

This chart indicates a 225 on a 7.5” with 45mm offset will work.

https://www.wheel-size.com/size/lexus/es/1994/

That’s 1.5” more in the well than stock (same offset). Hopefully another 1/2” wont matter. 50 profile would have been the right profile for keeping the same diameter, so calculate the induced instrumentation error and be aware of it.

The offset and the hub bore are the most important, usually when you keep the (same offset) you don`t have a problem with the wheel hitting the calipers. Check the wheel fitment and spin the (new wheels) to make sure it won`t hit the calipers on both front and back wheels. The tire size is the easy part to adjust when you buy the tires, after you know the wheels will fit. If you take the chance and buy wheels and tires all at the same time you take a greater chance of too many factors to go wrong? Examples Bolt Pattern, Diameter, Center hub bore, offset, Wheel lug types, speed errors, spacers ,center caps, TPMS sensors, and tire rub.

Check out ( Will they fit .com ) to get a calculated idea if they might be a good fit ? A 8 inch wheel on a older ES sounds likes a lot to me, it may handle better, but the ride will suffer with the lower a profile tire is, if that`s what you like ?
