Who's scared of messing up an ES? It's a cheap car nowadays.

An ES is still nicer than a 98+ Civic. That's why many of us are against your ghetto ricer mods. Just because it's worth as much as a Honda doesn't mean it's a Honda.

Judging from what you wrote about the ES being junk compared to the civic, I'm going to have to check your ID! There's an unspoken rule somewhere in the ES forum concerning the age limit of our members.

I hope you meant it as a joke but you really have to becareful when you're insulting cars people love. I had a friend who threw a chair half way across the classroom because another guy was making fun of Honda. This was in college. True story.

on a serious note, how much is it going to cost to get everything done? I know you got the parts cheap but labor isnt exactly cheap unless you're getting a hook up on that. I say for the money you are putting into labor and custom fab, why not just go for the wise sports kit? very aggressive styling yet still refined in a tasteful manner. just an opinion...

total cost of this project is under $2000 and 1 and 1/2 week without my es. which includes body kit, labor, paint, new set of fog lights.

just to buy a wise sport kit + shipping + puttin it in + painting the whole car would cost more than $2000

do you mean me/ i really like the es, in some ways, more then my dads rx, all i said was that i like the es and the civic, cause both are good cars. and about your story, i can believe it, the few honda drivers who are like that, ruin it for the other honda drivers who do have great cars, think of it this way, wiithout honda, we woudn't have the legend or the nsx, two of the best cars ever made in my opinion

14 years old and i have to lecture to people about letting others voice their ideas, pitiful, hope your car looks good and that you enjoy it
For real,,,,,,those of you who aren't even old enough to drive yet and has a car passed down to you for when you are,,,, really don't need to be commenting!!

PBB,, good luck with the boy work and all. Hope it turns out well. However the Civic Crack just was not cool.

Moderators,, please close this thread as it is starting to get out of hand!!!
