Is your ES300 Badged as Lexus or Windom
Hi Guys
Was your Es300 badged as a Lexus ES300 or a Toyota Windom ?
as some of you may know aready ours is a 2.5g 95 import from Japan.
The previous owner/s de badged it and put Lexus emblems front and rear
( Not a great job on the Front inside a Toyota steering wheel & Geniune
Windom floor Mats.
We have even seen the ES as a Windom both here on the forum and online, the spec of the ES is always windom, or Camry , so is your ES badged as a lexusfrom new or vamped as above.
spending time here you guys talk of your Es's as a real Lexus, or is the ES more a windom in a lexus guise? They are good enough classy enough to wear the Lexus badge
most guys here in the UK say" Like your lexus " not seen that model" is it from the US you get the drift, just your thoughts , " Cheers"

thought about putting the windom on my lexus but people would see it and ask " what kind of car is that " and it would be annoying to try and explain that its an import from japan... but its not... so im sticking with the es... and btw... does anyone know where i can get new badges for a 93 cheap... they are all faded... and the tail light "es300" was so bad i broke it out of the light... would like to get new ones...

I have gold lexus and es300 all around. In my country, people remove their toyota badge and put lexus instead. I haven't see anyone remove Lexus and put Toyota instead.

Thanks for the imput guy's
we posted on lexus owners club UK, the same question + has anyone here got a Es300 except New Zealand & Canada, guess what no replies
Either they are shy or we have the only ES300 2.5g in the UK ???
I did mention this forum, and did big it up, but maybe the guys from Oz & Canada
are here !!!, still we wait for a REPLY some day.
Back to the badges we will wait for Ebay or jap parts and get gold emblems
as ours is pearl white with gold lower, would match in nice L8er

Nope. It's just our brother of another (Toyota) color.
Learn the ES/Camry/Windom heritage here.
The first generation ES 250, built from 1989 to 1991, shared the body style of the contemporary Camry, while the Toyota Windom, a Japan-only model, shared the ES' body style from the 1992 second generation until 2006. The current fifth generation ES 350, featuring Lexus' own L-finesse body styling, was unveiled in the spring of 2006 as a 2007 model.
