Best for all weather conditions:
Michelin X Radial
Michelin HydroEdge

The Michelin X Radial DT is a very good all-around performer, but is only available from shopping clubs. The Michelin HydroEdge performs capably but is noisier, with mediocre hydroplaning resistance.

If icy roads aren't a factor:
Goodyear Assurance TripleTred
Hankook Mileage Plus II H725
Yokohama Avid TRZ

These tires do well in everything except braking on ice. The Goodyear Assurance TripleTred's ride is very quiet.

If long tread life is important:
Yokohama Avid TRZ
Michelin HydroEdge
Dayton Grenadier PLE
Bridgestone Turanza LS-T

The Dayton Grenadier PLE and Bridgestone Turanza LS-T offer excellent tread life and good performance. The Yokohama Avid TRZ and Michelin HydroEdge are better performers with very good tread life.

Cool

Actually the category the Goodyear Triple Tred is in above should read 'If icy roads are a factor' they have a built in ice block & are excellent (for an all season tire) in snow/ice conditions.
