Engine enamel, clear coat maybe?
My friend gave me this can of Dupli-color Engine Enamel of what appears to be clear coat. If I use this stuff, question is, will it make the engine bay look better? Is it safe to use? Is it a bad idea to use it?

Make sure its heat resistant. Its not a good idea to paint the plastic/rubber parts/hoses in the engine bay b/c the paint will degrade them over time. just clean the engine bay with a degreaser (and remember to cover all the electrical parts) and use a rubber/plastic protectant on the hoses/plastic. For the engine (the plastic cover) I bought this 'chrome' paint (chrome paint never looks like real chrome) and it matched the engine cover/wheels exactly) i think it was from duplicolor. I just covered the emblem and touched up the metal parts in the engine bay so it looks almost brandnew. (Pics in my pic album)
