thanks for the welcome. the car looks to be in great shape, so hopefully the whole project goes well and we're running it soon. choas, will definitely be in touch if we need to replace parts beyond the engine swap. (and out of curiosity... what's your price for the engine?)
the es is coming home on wednesday and evaluated that night... and will go from there i guess. husband is a toyota tech, so the lexus thing is kinda new... but it's not like there's a whole helluva lotta difference in these cars :P
one question though... he hasn't really looked into it but how convoluted are the abs systems on these things? the camrys didn't have that feature so that is a new one. actually two, come to think of it now. did they code airbag wiring the same way as future models? (ie, yellow?) again, feature the camrys didn't have.
