Default wireing harness for radio

Has any one seen a harness anywhere? I can't find them any where. I think I'm gonna go cut the wires in a bit.

Thanks.

I did call crutchfield and they told me they do not make a harness for the 92 ES300. Thanks for the idea though.

Updade. I cut the wires and now I am tring to figure out what is what. I have the constant power and the ignition power. I put the Ground wire to the car (i could not find a ground wire in the harness?). 8 of the 15 wires are bound together so I am hopeing they may be the speakers. I have not figured out the power antenna yet.

If any one has any tips or ideas please let me know

Thanks all.

Question Please HELP!

Another Update.
Found wires for power antenna.
Now looking at the speakers.
when I touch one wire from new stereo to a random wire that I think may be a speaker wire, I hear music. How can this be? A speaker needs 2 wires to work. I am so confused!

From other posts I noticed that there may be some factory amps. Can anyone clue me in. I need help desprately.

Default What a Pain

I figured out why there is no harness for the ES300. The harness wires are propritary. The only wires that can be used are the 12 Constant, 12 Volt Ignition, antenna, and the Dimmer. If you want to connect the speakers directly to the head unit you will have to extend them from under the passenger seat. This is where the amp is located so you will have to tap the wires with out the amp.
I found that is was easier to remove tha passenger seat to do this.

Question Speaker wires color codes

Since you took out the factory amp, did you figure out the wire colors for each speaker? Thanks.

It is really odd. Some of the wires where the same color but ran to different speakers. The wires for each speaker are right above and below each other. the wires are in the blue connector onthe amp.

I still have the connector that I cut out. I will take a pic of it and post it so you can see the colors. I will beout of town for the next few days so I will do this as soon as I get back.
Let me kno if you have any other questions.

i have ordered a double din facia panel and i am gonna place the stereo and the in dash cd changer... i am awaiting the parts to arrive...

I wanted to fill the whole space and as most Double Din Cd stereos do not have removable face i decided the filling that extra slot with the CD changer.
