Yes its possible. All you need is a hi/low converter and splice it to the stock amp wires and your ready to go.

Awesome so I just splice to the front left, front right 6.5 door speakers?
Power, Ground,.... All that is left is the blue wire, what do i do with that?
Cig lighter fuse probably?

This will work right?

I'm a little suspicious of buying the boss converter that keeps on popping up everywhere when I search for one.

Yes. I spliced directly from the amp because its a lot easier to access the wires. This is the exact one i used http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rockford-Fosgate-RF-HLC-2-Channel-Car-Audio-High-to-Low-Speaker-Converter-New-/400710552979?pt=US_Signal_Processors&hash=item5d4c35cd93&vxp=mtr , https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es300-and-es330/129035-es330-300-diy-do-it-yourself-and-technical-tips-4.html and i used this post to guide me on which wires i needed to splice into, post #60.

I attached them to the rear speakers, instead of the front? Is there a difference?
Also the subs are not as loud as expected, is this because the choice of setup I have used?
Or maybe I just need a stronger amp.....
