I'm gonna keep this thread open cause i plan on blacking out some more stuff, guess i should have made the title something like: I'm slowly turning my car black!!

LOOL, So you sold it to your ex??... i wonder how that worked out, i dont think i could ever do that, imagine the memories i had in that car and if i saw her driving it i would just start cracking up laughing everytime! I guess you just needed to sell it or she wanted it though.
This is turning into a popular thread i like it... I moved to Chicago from California just a few years i ago, so i know how you guys are feeling right about now, winters here SUCK, nothing but snow, and the summers are way to humid, in between its just rain ... Its actually pouring outside right now!

I like how clean the install is
Not too sure about the functionality of having the screen so low though..
BTW wheels look nice.
Hheeh I just bought a pair of Projector foglights on ebay for my 95 which didn't come with projectors b/c Lexus cheaped out
Post pics when i get them.

Of all the treads I would not think this one would become this popular. But yea the tv looks a lot cleaner now and I would think of keeping some of the chrome to keep some contrast

Choas: Yeah this thread started out as being something to show you guys what i did and maybe give some ideas of what to work from, to now i just post what i do to my car on here right after i do it, and i do something new to my car every other day!!!
TruPlaya26: I dont know why you would want a closeup of my headlight houseing i didnt black it out yet? Or did you mean you wanted to see the pix AFTER i black it out?
tuan92129:Theres a little story behind those wheels and putting them on, my friend has a 1994 N/A 5spd 300ZX (very clean might i add) Its his summer/weekend car and he has some staggered ADR wheels on the car now and in his garage he had 4 stock 225's laying around and 2 265's and all 6 wheels were stock 300zx rims. I didnt waste time trying the 265's so i started the unbolting process, before i forget to add we tried putting his wheels on my car once before, one thing was we did 265 in the back and it rubbed, 2nd thing was i BROKE MY WHEEL LOCK KEY.... well i went bought another one guess what, the second one broke last night... So right now im at work and my car is outside with driverside ZX wheels and the passenger side stock, oh and i might add that i believe my driverside back wheel is rubbing by like a HAIR so i need spacers and i drive everywhere at like 10 mph
I HATE WHEEL LOCKS!!
Sorry about getting ripped off on those non-projector projector fog lights
Dont worry though my car didnt come with fogs someone stole them so mine are not projectors either

I too, broke my Mcgard wheel lock tool. Had to buy another one from mail order. I do not like them as they are very easy to distort the shape. I plan on switching to regular lug nuts very soon.

I am Definitly switching to normal lugs, I will today go purchase another key and change to normal ones and see if the lexus dealer will pay me for them or maybe just sell them for like $5 on ebay or something because im not going to be going to the dealer to get another key evertime it gets stripped....
