Default Will this fit?

Will a 98 es300 engine fit in a 93 es with manual transmission? Also, will the taillights fit, and maybe some other things?
Thanks

cool....but I think instead of spending all that $ and time, just buy a 98 ES.

My 0.02 cents....

I suspect that he wants to keep the manual tranny.

IT may fit, in fact it should fit considering the 94-96 ES300 has basically the same engine as the 1997-1998 ES300. Of course you may need new engine mounts as the 93 motor and 98 motor may have different mounting points. The 98 motor may not work , though, with the 93 manual transmission. As the 93 ES300 and 94-on ES300 had a different engine.

One way of figuring this out is to see if the 92-93 Toyota manual tranny is similar/same as the 97-98 Toyota Camry V6 manual transmission.

That tranny is not the same one, in 1993 the had the 3VZ-fe and then in 1994-2002 the have the 1mz-fe and now the have VVTI on it if im not wrong. What you can do is drop a 3s-gte in your car and then you will have a 5spd turbo with alot of moding possibility. There are a couple camry's that i know of that have that swap and let me tell you that 400WHP is a possibility with this engine..

Yes I want to keep the manual transmission. I ask this because there is a 98 engine for sale for $1000 which seems like a good price(I think). I wanted the other engine because mine is getting a little bit too high miles than what I want and because I thought that the newer engine could work with the trd supercharger. If I can get something for the engine I have then it will be fine, I just don't want my car to sound funny(like the people who put intakes or exausts on their civics), I like how Lexus is quiet. So if anyone has any ideas, let me know. Thanks

Also I forgot to mention, I wanted to know if some other things would fit because that guy selling the engine said that he has other parts of the car for sale. I just would like some new things for my car because they are in rough shape, like my passenger taillight, steering wheel, instrument cluster, and maybe some seats. Please let me know if anyone knows where I can find these for cheap. Thanks
