Thank you so much Slooooow.

The estimate arrivals time for the Whitelines stuffs - 4 weeks wait. $178.20 AUD/pair for the springs. Sway bar is $172.04AUD and Strut tower brace $227.92 AUD.

My boot is loaded with 12" sub ported inclosure, 2x Apine Amps, speakers and this contributes to the saggyness of her butt. hehehe Hopefully the 1+1/2" drop will not look low or rub with the 18".

My uncle owns a garage shop and he hates fixing my baby so I have to take a day off work once the parts arrive to fits it all in. And Yes ... I will post pictures ... this forums is great... the least I could do to return the favour for the information.

One more favour to ask ... are u or any one out there willing to buy me some Seaform... the product is not available in Australia?.... I'll be their buddy for life !!! hehehe

What springs, mounts, dust boots, etc. are you going with?
It sounds like you're about to start having a lot of fun now. Gratz!!

If your ES is completely stock, and it has different rims than everyone else's 94 then that would make them after market rims. How about some pictures?

Oh and welcome to Club Lexus and the ES section!

As the title goes, so go the parts and part numbers listed herein for the "2nd Generation (92-96)." With your 3rd gen ES (97-01) you'll find that many of the vendors, resellers and parts are the same, but as it's a different platform, the part numbers and part structures have to be different and incompatible with 2nd gen ESs. If you're just starting out and doing your initial research, you could definitely start with the vendor list, but I think you're going to end up with a much wider variety once you've discovered every manufacturer who makes parts for the 3rd gen. I expect your search to be much less frustrating.

Heck, go crazy with your research and documentation, start a thread listing out the parts and part numbers for your 3rd gen bros, and you might have the next "Suspension Reference for 3rd gen ESs"!

I might just have to try that. I actually do not have the car yet, just saw a picture of a nice ES300 on wheels and coil-overs on a local forum and I realized that my fascination with speed needs to be put on hold with my current driving record, hahaha. I was doing a lot of research on SC300 NA-T but now I am looking at just getting a 97-01 and wheels, bags, tint, system, maybe 2-3 screens. Wish me luck!

PS.

I am an avid mtn driver and honestly, would an es300 with a nice coil over setup and some nice sways be able to take on the mtns? How about one wth bags? I don't want to spend over $2k on my suspension.

Woot! A review on the Bilsteins finally! Thanks to Greed777 for giving them a try and giving us this info:

Well after a few weeks of waiting, I am pleased to announce that I finnally got ahold of the rest of my suspension gear.

I currently have obtained my KYB-GR2 shocks, Part numbers 334170 Front Right, 334171 Front Left & 334133 Rear Right & 334134 Rear Left

The springs that I will be using along with the GR2's will be the Tein SKL16 Solara Springs,
I also picked up the 18MM Whiteline BTR36 rear sway bar to upgrade with the
suspension.

I am planning on upgrading the suspension sometime in the next few weeks on my next scheduled full service.

Take Care Friends,
Jeremy

Talking my 1992 es 300

I just purchased a 1992 es 300 and love it. I have noticed that the steering is loose. Not in a unsafe loose I was wondering can i improve on this.

I read the email about the shocks and coils and was wounding if this is going to help on steering or just suspension.

any idea on how to improve this problem
