How do you remove rear speaker covers?
#2
Hahah I had the same question before i changed my rear speakers.
First of all, the rear speaker covers are attached to the rear deck cover. There is no way to detach the speaker covers from the reast of the panel.
You need to
1. Remove the seats. open the rear door, and look at the pattern for the rear seat. reach underneath the front of the seat, and find the center of the insert panel. There are two pin thingies that hold the seat down, one for each side. Work on one sde first, and pull upward. The seat should come out.
2. Remove the back part of the seat. YOu need to remove all the screws/bolts and then reach under the seat and pull upward. don't pull out, pull up in the same angle as the seat back. Once it is unlocked, pull the seat up and then out.
3.Now, remove the rear side panels, and juts reach behind the middle of the trim near the window and pull.
4. Remove rear 3rd brake light. look for the diy section to find usefull info on that.
5. Undo any clips that are holding the panel cover, by looking underneath it from inside the trunk. Then, just pull the panel straight out, and Speakers/everything else it there.
BTW, I'm bad at write-ups, so X_X
