Default Help and Opinion is greatly aprriciate(PIC*Rims & tires)

I want to get a new set of rims and tires so i looked up in craiglist. Here is what i found. I'm not sure if the tire fits. I'm not familiar with rims and tire, can some one help? Please.

Here is the spec of the tire:

40 series tires on 18 inch rims
Ventus by Hankook tires 225/40/18 radial tubeless tires
5 lug zoom alloy rims
Help and Opinion is greatly aprriciate(PIC*Rims & tires)-rims-and-tires.jpg

The tire size on my 00 ES is P205/65R15 92V or P215/60R16 91V

Anything that i should be worry about beside checking if the 5 lugs (i guess it is called offset) fit my lexus?
Thx

I'm not sure though. I'm guessing it is the same as the tire which is P225. I think a better question would be, what is the maximum width of the wheel that lexus can handle? I'm so noob!

Those look like a nice set of rims/tires, I run 18x7.5 with 225/40 No Rub at all.
You'll need a 5 X 4.5 OR 5 X 114.3 MM bolt pattern on the rim to mount it.
I think you need something along +35 offset or more for proper fitment.
I have +38 on mines. Someone else might have to clarify how low an offset you can go. Good Luck

by the looks of it, it might be a 8" width rim. for sure not more than 9". but now it is all about the offset of the rims. i am getting my wheels soon from japan, hopefully i can squeeze my 9" width rims. actually, im pretty positive on it fitting, just a matter of camber, and offset. what wheels are those?

boxlvo.

forget about tire size and guessing what size rim is...

you need to find out exactly the width and offset.

8.5 on width is the widest you'de want to go. ( unless you are willing to do fender mods and such, like fender rollin some neg camber and a mild stretch on tire. the a 9 is the way to go for the exe/vip style)
but nontheless, an 8 or 8.5 is nice.

Offset for the norm (8 or 8.5)should be in the 30's...example +32 +35 +37

if you want to go low and aggressive, than you can push boundries and run mid to high 20's in offset....example +23 +25 +28 ( note, this would take work but look mean)

good luck..... by the way thats a clean lookng wheel

i'm no expert, but those wheels don't look any wider than 8. could be 7.5.

Thank you everyone for helpful inputs. I just contacted the seller and he said the bolt pattern is 5 x 110mm, but he couldn't find the offset number on the rims. I guess the bolt should fit b/c it is only like 4.3mm different based on what Maxx941 said ,"You'll need a 5 X 4.5 OR 5 X 114.3 MM bolt pattern on the rim to mount it". As for the offset, i guess i have to measure it manually. I found this link, very helpful in calculating

again, thx
