Age: 42
Driving-age equivilent: 42, but sometimes (once is too often) I drive like a hopped-up ignorant 16-year-old. Ugh.
I got my '94 a few months ago.
I drive cheap but very well-maintained quality cars.
I finally sold my '83 Volvo wagon (240k) because the A/C refused to be revived one more time.
My '72 Volvo wagon, 310k, because the baked wiring harness would take no more splicing and needed replacing. The buyer did that; it's a lovely car again.
Niether ever needed major work.
Now, if I can keep from pushing the 170k+ Lexus (man I love this thing) too hard, I'll drive it until it or I just rot from age. Or until I get a hotter Lex and give this one to my kid.

Then when I'm all by myself on the backroads with no innocent bystanders, I throw all those thoughts out the window for a few minutes . (Ok the confession.....I don't do this much with the ES)

well i think that...
it has this turn out because of the fact that us in the younger age group are active in forums like this. maybe the older es300 drivers i see all the time around me dont go onto forums or even know that this clublexus.com eve exists.
or maybe not
(i hate being wrong lol)

I had my first '93 ES when I was 19. I had my '92 SC300 when I was 20 for a couple of months and sold it. Then I crashed the '93ES and got another '92 ES. I turned 21 since yesterday.

Since everyone's talkin about age and how they got their ES, my story: I'm 17 and kinda inherited it from my mom. I need a car to get to school and work, and this is what I usually drive for it.
I'll get a car of my "own" next year, when the ES goes and I get something for college.
