This was probably asked already, but anyways.

Spec 1998 Lexus ES300

When unlocking your ES300 with the keyless remote does your interior light turn on? Mine doesn’t is it supposed too? Is their a switch which activates it? When I close the door though the light stays on for about 30 seconds or when you press lock, I know this is normal. But why doesn’t the light turn on when you unlock it with the remote? Most cars do that.

Also what type of gas are you supposed to put in your ES regular, mid grade or premium? I have been using mid grade is that OK for the car?

Your car is designed to work with fuels as low as 87 octane. Look in your Owners Handbook and it'll tell you this.
