Default 95' ES300 O/D Light flashes

i have a 95' ES300 and my overdrive light flashes and my check engine light is on... both happend at the same time. All my fluids are fine i have a hole in my air filter hose right above the air meter- (if this might have anything to do with it) i have also never changed my trans fluid since i have had it 3 years 16,000 miles... any suggestions? i am taking it in to the toyota house tomorrow to run diognostics! UPDATE- temporarly sealed the hole with duck tape and the O/D light no longer flashes??? Check engine light still on UPDATE- nevermind the front seal on my transmission just took a s*** sucks for me!

Cool

i have a hole in my air filter hose right above the air meter
Then you're running very lean.
  1. Jump TE1 & E1 in either DIAGNOSTIC port to get the malfunction codes from the ECU so you know what all is having problems (The CEL and/or O/D light will flash the code)
  2. Replace the air hose (ebay), or build an intake
  3. Reset the ECU
  4. Drive the ***** like you stole it

Problem solved. Quit going to mechanics - it doesn't seem like you have a real problem.
