Default ES330 shifting problem

My wife thinks the shifting on her '06 ES 330 is a little jerky. When upshifting from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd gears, the car hesitates a little. Has anybody else experienced this? What was the solution?

We haven't taken it in yet, but will be later this week. A Lexus sales guy told me that this has been a complaint, so I'm hoping others know what to do to fix it.

Thanks in advance...

I have a 06' 330 as well ... I have also starting to realize this problem especially then I am going slow and with a sudden increase in my speed I feel a slight jerk... I taught they (Lexus) have fixed this issue.. well looks like I will have to bring it in to.. Please let me know what the dealer says .. I sure do confirm your wife is absolutely right!!

email me s9kupusa@gmail.com

Thank You...

Default shift problem resolved

My dealer found an air mass flow sensor was not working properly ... and loaded the latest "shifting software" in the car. Now the car is re-learning my wife's driving habits and shifts a lot smoother. In case others have noticed this, it could be a fixable issue...

Thats good to know... probably I will have my dealer to check on the sensor when I am bringing in the car for the first service..

Thank you so much for posting it... this would help us a lot.. especially the dealer to save time if it is stereotype issue for all 06 shifting problems.
