Hey -- wassup?
I"m currently undecided ---
99-00 3.2TL
97-98 Lex ES
99-00 Millenia S Millenium
01 Aurora 3.5
99-?01 I30

N E How---
curious

how reliable are 97+ models? Exceptional right?
How's fit finish - i.e. rattles, etc.? That's what scaring me away from the TL

Any Body kits (modest -- but good looking) avail?

And --- will the newer 00-01 I believe -- Tails fit the 97-98 models? (red/yellow lenses vs. all red)
thanks

Our I30t(2000) is a great car. Powerful, confortable, roomy. The ES300 isn't bad eirther, interior is confortable and the exterior looks great. I like how the TL looks but the interior isn't as good as the others. If you want value go with the TL, comfort: ES, a mix of both: I30.

ps>es300(windom) has much more aftermarket parts in JAPAN than i30t. i30t??? i haven't seen any i30t in any maz. from japan.

tl type s loaded with nav u can get for 32g easy

TL all the way

plus it can had parts to fix it up

comptech headers i heard add a huge amount of power
and there is a body kit in the usa (unlike our 3-4grand for a jdm one for the es3) and its faster

its worth it for the money

i say get a tl i have a es3 which i like but i really wish i got a tl

but it all depends on what you like... i mean im tryin to fix my car up but there really isnt much of anything

Well --- i don't want the last gen I30 -- cuz they are kinda boxy and plain. So I'm more between teh following
97-99 LeX ES300
99-00 Acura 3.2TL

(New Type-S isn't an option -- I'm not spending any more than $20k)

So I still dunno....
In the Lex --- does the seat go down kinda lower? I like cars that you feel lower to the ground like a coupe/cockpit -- My TBird is like that and a Millenia I drove was -- The TL rides kinda high up (the seat)
How about the ES?

Great cars, take your time and chose which one you really want.

The 99-01 I30 are not the "old" body styled that looks like it's oddly shaped Maxima cousin(95-98). It has a totally different look on it's own, it is the "new" body style. You must have gotten them confused.

Also check out the thread on page 2 on this forum, "What to look for in an ES300?" that I started. Also check out in the Lexus lobby, "Acura TL-S vs Maxima" it has some good views.

Good luck!!!
