Very clean looking and as mentioned before, you need some 18in rims and a possible drop. I also live in a pothole city, it’s not so bad, I just pay more attention to the rode looking out for them nasty holes!

GREAT job with the car. it looks the same as last summer when i ran near you around 50th and 4th.. anyways.. a nice set of rims would be nice.. but the car looks way better in person ..

Your ES is looking real nice, the Eyelids look great and Im pushing to gets mines now.. 18" Rims would do your ES justice. I use to live in NYC I definitely agree NYC potholes are Crazy. So don't drop it. Not worth the risk, especially if you drive all around. BTW a friend with 20" rims on his 2003 cadillac Seville SLS split 2 left wheels from a pot hole in the city and he isn't even lowered. I'd probably go with the audio first and install a good alarm system.
And have a Safe place to park it.

I have 2K2 SC430 wheels on my 98 ES. I had to put a spacer on the back wheels because they were touching my struts. I have an 1/8" spacer ...i wish i got a little bit bigger because they tuck under the well quite a bit. I just got some Intrax lowering springs for a V6 camry for 100 bucks on ebay and i'm puttin them on this weekend. The wheels tuck under the wheel well perfect. They look hot...my color is oyster pearl...they match perfect. I'll let you know how it rides and if it scrapes with the drop. Pics coming when the drop comes.
No rub at all even with 5 grown men in it. the springs were made for a 97-01 camry so the drop was 1.6. alot of clearance in the front...ride isn't that bad either. bought the clear corners from Autodynamic.com . 70 bucks shipped to my door. Kinda steep but worth it. Bought this car from a High Line auction in Manheim, PA . 98 with 60,000 mi...loaded ...heated seats all that. I got it for 15,500. It's immaculate.
