Another Mysterious Sound...
Well I did a search, but can't seem to find any other topics on the subject so I hope someone knows what I'm talking about.
If I've been driving my car for more than about 30 mins or so the dash will suddenly make a loud "click" noise. The weird thing is that it'll only happen once; it's not a continuous click. It's happened basically since I first got the car about 8 months ago, but I just always mistook it for a pebble hitting the windshied. Then I started noticing that it would happen when I would just be pulling into the garage, or other instances when it was obvious there were no flying rocks.
As best as I can tell everything still works fine, but being as **** as I am... this tiny flaw has turned into a whole annoyance. That and the fact that it almost gave my gf a heartattack the last time it happened have driven me to try and fix whatever's making the noise.
Any ideas?

ive heard something like a click too...
but everytime it has happened, so far, has been during freeway driving...so it could be a pebble or some debris
but ill listen more carefully so see if it happens on the streets and at much slower speeds too

Leets, sometimes this noise happens to me, especially on very hot days. The pop noise comes from the center console, and I usually take it as a temperature-effect phenomenon or something to that effect. In other words, I'm not too concerned about it
