pls HELP.clicking noise when i turn steering wheel

just started happening a month ago.when i make a turn.there is a lood clicking noise coming from driver side.what could this be.my frien said it could be the axle.it is a 96 es300 w/120.000 miles

yea its the axle
had the same problem on a camry and an infiniti
just had teh front axle replaced

had the same problem over the summer with my dads 97 accord, high chance that its the axle...

For sure it's your axle... or another word Driveshaft. Your CV boot might have gone bad and allowed all those outside dirt to get in and eventually wear out the bearings... I don't think it is a expensive fix if you can do it by yourself... I got that done on my Camry. It took me freaking 5hrs plus... damm working by myself in my friends garage at a 20F Temp... Damm...
