does the 05 non mark levison have a stock amp? if so where is it at and what does it power? just the subs or all the speakers?

I have 06 Lexus and i am curious to find out if mine comes with an AMP. I do not have the Nav or ML audio. I have a Lexus Premium Sound. Any ideas?

Youe factory amps on the ES are located under or inside the dashboard.

thank you GATO!! i just needed to find out where the stock amp was, or if it was like every other head unit and the head unit poweres everything. i want to add aftermarket enclosed sub. and trying to figure out how all the lexus system is wired.

crazzy i didn't know the es had n amp how stong is it? im guessing its normal int he ML?

the basic ES system has an amp, i think its a 5 channel amp, although there are seven speakers. the front door speakers probably have a crossover for the tweeters. anyways, the system is rated by Lexus at only 86w but at only 0.1% THD. the ML version is 240W at 0.01%THD. most aftermarket amps rate their wattage at 1% THD or less. so its something to think about.
