Default rims rubbing against car, any suggestions

I have 18 inch wheels on my 96' ES 300 and I also have 150 pounds worth of subwoofer in the trunk. When ever i have people on the back seat while running over a curb, the tire would rub against the car. Any suggestions that could fix the problem with out spending a fortune?

Take out the 150lbs sub in the trunk. That's pretty much all you can do. I have one 12 JL in my trunk and with just one person in the back it rubs on bumps...

like i pm'd you
i dont rub anymore since i got my coilovers. but also check where you are rubbing.(fenders....then roll them at a body shop) (if its hitting the spring perch...consider wheelspacers and new lug studs)

also depends on your offset. btw post pics i wanna see what it looks like.

Are you talking about spacers? lug studs? or fender rolling?

check with your local wheel shop or automotic supply store for the first 2 check with a trusted body shop for the rolling.

I have the same problem. I'll let you know how it is after I get my coilovers in. I'm guessing the stock springs cant handel the weight but with the coilovers my suspension should be stiffer.
