Default Is there a DIY fix for PS leak?

I'm experiencing a PS leak on my 95ES, but can't find a good DIY source for fixing the problem on this forum. I'll be doing VC gaskets and oil pan gaskets at the same time, so ripping out a bunch of hoses and connection is not a problem.

Anyone has any input?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but anytime i had a p/s leak it was the pump itself gone bad. Check all the piping going to it and hope that is the problem!

Thanks for the reply. I'm not very familiar with ES300 since it's really my parents car. I have a BMW which also has a ps leak, but that's easily fixed with replacement of rubber hoses. Seems like Lexus really designed it so that we have to replace everything.

Yea and they designed it so you half to take half the car apart to get to anything too, lol.
